Melissa is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist and literacy specialist with expertise in language-based learning disabilities and advanced training in structured literacy interventions. She is currently the Associate Director of Student Progress and Performance at Landmark School and a doctoral student working under the mentorship Dr. Tiffany Hogan at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Melissa has worked in public schools, private interdisciplinary practices, higher education, and educational technology settings. Her work has focused on supporting school-aged children and adolescents with reading and writing difficulties, guiding families through special education processes, and helping schools implement evidence-based practices. Melissa holds an SLP professional license through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as speech-language and reading specialist educator licenses through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
