Miah is a warm, compassionate clinician who is committed to providing evidence-based, holistic, and individualized care. She values providing equitable therapy to prioritize client goals and enhance quality of life. Miah strongly believes that the child’s caregivers and parents are an important and valued part of the team.
Meet

Miah earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. There, Miah participated in graduate fieldwork at the MGH Frontotemporal Disorders Unit, the MATCH Community Day Charter School, and at the MGH Pediatric Outpatient Healthcare Center where Melissa was her clinical supervisor. Miah is currently employed in the Boston Public Schools as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, where she serves over 30 bilingual English/Spanish speaking students from the ages of 3 to 18 years of age. Her students include individuals with autism, ADHD, articulation/phonological, fluency, and/or receptive and expressive language disorders and learning disabilities.

She is passionate about advocating for appropriate accommodations and support for children. Miah holds the Massachussetts Provisional Licensure for Speech Language Pathology and licensure through the Massachussetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in Academic: Specialist Teacher, Speech Language and Hearing Disorders, All Levels.
